Dr. Moben Mirza is an Assistant Professor of Urology at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Mirza received his undergraduate degree in Environmental Science/Engineering from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. He completed his medical school and urology residency at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He then completed a fellowship in Urologic Oncology at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.
Dr. Mirza is an associate member of the American Urological Association and the South Central Section of the AUA. He is a candidate member of the Society of Urologic Oncology and the Southwest Oncology Group. He is also a member of the Endourological Society and Kansas City Urologic Society.
In addition to having written peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapter, abstracts, and case reports, Dr. Mirza has given several presentations at regional, national, and international meetings.
Dr. Mirza specializes in the treatment of genitourinary malignancies including prostate, bladder, kidney, testicular, and penile cancers. He performs open, endoscopic, laparoscopic, and robotic surgeries. His research interests are in prostate, bladder, and kidney cancers.
